One eye.
Two crafts.
Lane Studios is a one-person brand studio based in Kaiserslautern, Germany. We build complete brand identities and shoot automotive photography — two disciplines that share the same core skill: knowing exactly what to leave out.
Good photography and good branding ask the same question: what does this need to say — and what gets in the way?
We design for longevity, not trends. Your brand should still feel right in ten years.
You get every file, every login, every asset. Nothing held back, no lock-in.
We take limited projects so every client gets full attention, not a queue number.
The photography portfolio shows the eye. That eye is what goes into every brand.
Lane Studios started from a simple observation: most brand designers don't shoot, and most photographers don't brand. The two disciplines sit next to each other but rarely speak. This studio is built on the connection between them.
Based in Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, we work with small businesses, independent operators, and individuals who want a real brand — not a logo file and a color code. Every project ends with a complete handoff: the website is live, the email works, the brand guide is in your hands.
Automotive photography came first. The patience it takes to wait for the right light, the discipline of working within a strict composition — those habits translate directly into how brands are built here. Unhurried, precise, and built around what the subject actually is.
If you're looking for a studio that will tell you what you need, build it properly, and get out of your way — you're in the right place.
WORK WITH USHOW WE SHOOT
The visual
philosophy
Automotive photography is the proof of concept for everything Lane Studios does. It demonstrates the eye, the patience, and the precision we bring to every brand. It is not decoration — it is evidence.
Always pursue interesting natural light — warm golden hour, dramatic overcast, sharp midday shadows. Avoid flat, even artificial light.
The car is in conversation with its setting. Industrial backdrops, open roads, architectural context — location is a creative decision, not an afterthought.
Edits serve the image. Deep blacks, preserved highlight detail, natural color on paintwork. Never heavy presets or HDR processing.
Every frame has a clear subject and hierarchy. Negative space is used deliberately. Avoid visual clutter in the frame.
Landscape orientation for all hero images. Vertical crops only for designated portrait formats such as Stories or mobile hero sections.
Seek compositions that include warm neutrals — sand, concrete, raw metal — that echo the brand palette naturally.
